The One who calls you is faithful

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your entire spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it. — 1 Thessalonians 5:23–24

What are your preparations for standing before Almighty God and giving an account of your life?

Fortunately, we don’t have to do this. God has already given an “account” of our life. He has made us holy through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Not only are we forgiven, but all our sins have been cast away. They are no longer there. God looks at us and every part of us is now blameless, because all our wrongs are taken away and forgotten. We are completely changed.

This is what God wants to give us, what He has called us to be. We could never be holy by ourselves, but God freely gives His grace and love. We receive it all from Him. He is faithful, so there can be no doubt-He will do it. Forgiven and blameless!
